Practical Magic for Pet Parents [2025 Manifestation Guide INSIDE]

Dear Reader,

Tomorrow, I’ll be opening a letter I wrote to myself a year ago and updating my vision book—snapshots of my dreams and intentions for the year ahead. As the year comes to a close and I sit with this ritual, I’m struck by the same realization: the goals I believed in most clearly, the ones that felt tangible and within reach, were the ones that came to life the fastest.🐆

Here's why: while I love visualizing my wildest dreams, I don’t always feel fully connected to them. Can you relate? When I focus my intention on attainable desires—ones I can see happening within 1-3 years—I feel more inspired to take action in the present moment, which is where the magic truly happens!✨

It’s not about giving up big dreams; it’s about believing in the steps you can take right now and being open to outcomes that might surprise you—outcomes better than you could have imagined. Build confidence with smaller achievements and master gratitude with every milestone.

If you’re thinking about manifestation for 2025, I encourage you to create a Short-term Vision Book. Unlike a traditional vision board, this spiritual tool combines words and images with a focus on the next 1-3 years.

And because life with pets brings its own beautiful challenges, let’s make sure your vision includes their needs, too! After all, our pets are such a big part of our lives that leaving them out can create friction. You might subconsciously disconnect from “backpacking through Europe” if it’s hard to imagine leaving the state while your pets are home.

Ready to try it? Here’s how:

  1. On one side of a photo album or journal, write a letter
Picture your own life 1-3 years from now, and describe it as if it’s already real. Use present tense and focus on feelings:📖
“I feel confident about my choice to travel and meet new people. I feel proud of the balance I’ve created between my pet’s needs and my own dreams.”
  2. On the other side, match your words with images
Pinterest is your friend! Find photos that align with your vision. For example, if your dream is a sanctuary with acres of land, start with something closer to home, like a sun-lit catio or a fenced backyard. Repeat steps 1 & 2 for every significant category such as Career, Love, Home, Travel...
  3. Revisit your vision book daily
This is what makes it a manifestation ritual: Each morning, don’t just glance at the words and images—feel the emotions they evoke. Peace, warmth, joy... Let these feelings guide your actions and keep your intentions alive throughout the day.😌

Pro tip: To find your next step, reverse-engineer your short-term goals. Start by writing out the final step, then work backward until you identify your first step.
As you manifest, you’ll grow and evolve—and so will your dreams. When that happens, it’s time to update your vision book and keep the momentum going!!🦋

Dear lovely subscriber, It’s been a while, but I’m writing again—spark reignited. A couple months ago, my cat Cloud had emergency surgery while I was out of the country: of all places, the Cloud Forest of Costa Rica. Not being there for him was one of my biggest fears come true. This wasn't our first hospitalization. But this time, it felt so different: I had the tools, the community, and the inner steadiness to stay grounded. I could still enjoy my trip. When I asked the land if my cat would...

Dear beautiful soul, I want to share a little game I love—a mini-psychology exercise that’s as playful as it is revealing.🧠✨It’s a gentle way to get to know yourself on a deeper level and uncover patterns that might be quietly shaping the way you connect with your pet, your relationships, and even yourself. Take a moment and answer these in your head: What’s your favorite color—and why? (List three deep reasons.) What’s your favorite animal—and why? (Again, think of three reasons.) What’s...

Another beautiful reminder of how connected we are—y'all come into my life right when I need it, too. Here’s what happened:A client came to me with a...
